How do I join the association?

Dues are $30/year.  Just send an email to secretary@lpd7.org and you will receive instructions to mail a check or send payment electronically.

When and where is the next reunion?

Our 2023 reunion is scheduled for the Fall of 2023 in Galveston, TX.  More details will be forthcoming on this site.  Please join our association as paid members will receive regular updates and discounted venue pricing.

Can I look up a shipmate somewhere?

We are looking to enable this but we must be careful to protect everyone's privacy.  If you are a paid member and are looking for another shipmate, contact the Reunion Association secretary.  There are a number of military-affiliated sites that allow for lookups; but we urge caution, as we cannot speak for the security of any of these other sites.  Facebook is a good way to reconnect as well.  Just be careful as some of the Facebook Groups are "Public" meaning your identity and all post are open to the internet; which also means a lot of scammers and spammers.  I use this "Private" and moderated group.  You will need to be vetted by the administrator before you are allowed to join.  

What is the term of Reunion Association Board?

In accordance with the organization's by-laws, board members serve a term of two (2) years.

How can I help?

1. Get the word out.  If you are in contact with other shipmates, let them know about this group.   

2. Join us and come to the next reunion.

3. If you have web-development or similar IT skills, contact the Secretary to join our IT and Communications steering committee.
