Departments are a big part of Site Aurora and any proper facility, allowing various minor to major tasks to be carried out by those qualified and or specialized in them. Here are a look at all the Departments found on Site Aurora. As to make those reading aware, clicking on the icons of the Departments here will take you to their roblox group page, and of course clicking on the name will take you to the Database's page on them.

Headed by the O5 Director, O5-X, the Administrative Department handles tasks relating to admin situations in-game, ordering people around in general, and doing actual administrative work in terms of appointing or approving people to be in high-level positions and managing other things related to positions, communications, transfers, reviews and documents.

Headed by O5-1, the O4 Command is composed of (for some reason) O5 personnel and members of the Security Department, with its goal being the watching of various sites and planning actions whenever said sites are compromised, from issuing notices and alerts to declaring high level lockdowns.

Admittedly this seems very lame and not useful so it may be changed to be something like a collective of O4 Personnel from across the departments who determine if someone is worth promoting to O4, the highest rank attainable besides O5 which is never happening, or acting as the highest ranks should nobody higher be online or such.

Despite being seen as some sort of sick joke, the Ethics Committee, headed by O5-2, is one of if not the most powerful and influential of the Departments despite its small size, with its leadership having power even over the O5 Council to the extent their orders or plans can be nullified if deemed inhumane, just that immoral or simply downright evil. They are responsible for reviewing containment procedures, incidents, treatment of all personnel and experiments.

The Department of External Affairs, headed by O5-3, is a relatively important Department, being responsible for things such as maintaining positive or neutral relations with other groups, ranging from the Global Occult Coalition to regional organizations, hostile groups should they be willing to engage in conversation, or even maintain relations with the SCP Foundations in other realities (other SCP groups).

The Department of Internal Affairs, headed by O5-4, plays a valuable role within The Foundation, settling disputes or incidents between different Departments, reviewing their activities as to keep documentation and communicating with department leaders.

The Intelligence Agency, overseen by O5-5, is the hidden eye outside of The Foundation, monitoring and reporting the activities or general information about other groups. Due to security and classification reasons, not much more can be said.

The Internal Security Department, overseen by O5-6, is the hidden eye inside of The Foundation, monitoring and reporting the activities or general information about personnel involved in any incidents and [REDACTED]. Unlike Intelligence, Internal Security is more visible and directly present in operations, but in terms of information being said not much more can be due to security and classification reasons.

The Mobile Task Forces of The Foundation, overseen by O5-7, are one of our most critical elements, preforming actions such as SCP re-containment of breached anomalous objects and entities, combatting hostile forces or even being called in to provide security should the security department be overwhelmed.

The Engineering and Technical Department, headed by O5-8, is responsible for the maintenance of the site, from the doors to the lighting to even the containment chambers. There isn't much to say about them.

The Logistics Department, directly headed by O5-9, are the makers and maintainers of the Site Database and one of if not the most critical Department of The Foundation. Logistics allows facilities and the other Departments to function, supplying them with everything they need from things such as papers to personnel. Notably, ever since O5-9 took direct control the Logistics Department it seems to have somewhat expanded to cover other tasks, most visibly to all here in Site Aurora being that it has established the Site Database with great support.

The Medical Department, headed by O5-10, handles medical situations at all Foundation Sites, covering things from simple mandated checkups to preforming life-saving operations should something serious occur.

The Scientific Department, headed by O5-11, is one of our major Departments, being the first people think of when they think of our Foundation. Using Class-D Personnel they solve the mysteries of things such as what happened when you put someone into a room with something that can kill them, and even get to work on other things such as mixing and matching chemicals or trying to work on other side projects when not testing anomalies.

The Security Department, headed by O5-12, is one of our major Departments, providing sites around the world with security and basic rule enforcement. Preforming tasks such as quick anomaly recontainment should they be fast enough or it be minor enough to not need a Mobile Task Force, to standing at the Class-D area doing nothing but harassing anyone that gets remotely close to the line on the ground they aren't meant to cross.

The Janitorial Department, headed by O5-13, cleans up the messes that frequently occur on site, from drink spillages to clogged toilets, without them, the Site would slowly descend into a mess, and the Logistics Department would have no other to point at and say, "Hey look, they also do unnoticed work, let's respect them."
