TEACHING & MENTORING

I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). I have shown the capability of mentoring and inspiring students at different stages of their careers and have efficiently translated my knowledge to students at different levels (undergraduate, master and PhD)

Research supervision of PhD students

I co-supervised part of the PhD work of Thomas Hoyle when both of us where at Brunel University London. Our pathways diverged and he moved to Utrecht University. I was then unemployed for a while (2018) and, later on, got a job at Kingston University London. Although, at the end, I do not appear as an official supervisor of his PhD dissertation, the work we have done together has been published in three papers (Hoyle et al. 2018, 2020, 2021)
