TEACHING & MENTORING
I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). I have shown the capability of mentoring and inspiring students at different stages of their careers and have efficiently translated my knowledge to students at different levels (undergraduate, master and PhD)

I co-supervised part of the PhD work of Thomas Hoyle when both of us where at Brunel University London. Our pathways diverged and he moved to Utrecht University. I was then unemployed for a while (2018) and, later on, got a job at Kingston University London. Although, at the end, I do not appear as an official supervisor of his PhD dissertation, the work we have done together has been published in three papers (Hoyle et al. 2018, 2020, 2021)
PhD, 2013-2019: TM Hoyle, "Biotic Change and Landlocked Seas: Ecosystem responses to climate and sea level variability in the Plio-Pleistocene of the Pontocaspian basins". Utrecht University [link]
Research supervision of master and undergraduate students
