Basics
A medium sized forest flows over some hills and through some small valleys. In one of these said valleys is a small pond, but it's very hard to spot, it appears as though maybe someone deliberately dragged brambles and foliage to cover it up and to defend it. A small entrance can barely be seen. This forest has trees that are awkwardly close together and thick undergrowth, it's hard to travel through and impossible not to get scratched up, but there is a whole lot of prey. Most of the prey is rodents, but a rare bird here and there, this isn't to say there are no birds in the forest, but the trees rarely have any branches low down to the ground. So seeing as birds don't come to the ground that often and when they do they are hard to catch birds are a rare prey. Though most of the trees are tall and branchless there are some trees that the apprentices learn to climb. There are a lot of tunnels underneath all of the brush too, made by mice and other small mammals, but be careful not to sprain your paw. Seeing as the camp is in a valley it has been known to flood, even though this is a rare occurrence, the cats all know how to swim fairly well. The pond in their camp is great for learning how to swim, but you need to be careful because it is deep in the middle, deep enough for fish at least, the fish make for a great emergency food supply.

Training
The main place for training apprentices is in a medium sized clearing. There are other clearings, but the main one was chosen for multiple reasons, one being the fact that it's in the same valley as the camp, another being its size, the grass is also very short and soft. And besides there aren't very many clearings in the tightly packed trees. It's not perfect though, there are bushes and such that can be found growing there, only small ones though, the apprentices have to clear them out at least every moon, which is easy enough.
There's also a very large tree called "The tree of untold heights" but it was named a long time ago, before anyone climbed to the top. Now it's mostly just called "Tall-tree." It's where apprentices learn to climb. It has many low branches, great for learning. But be careful because the ground at the bottom is not soft. If you can climb to the top some cats have said they felt the presence of star clan up there, but only experienced climbers go up to the top.
MoonGlade
MoonGlade is a very small clearing, it isn't very noticeable in the daytime. But at night it's one of the best places to view the stars. And at moon-high a beam of moonlight slices through the sky hitting the center of the glade. It is said that if you look into the moonbeam the starry figures of ghostly cats can be seen. On the half-moon all LotusClan medicine cats will travel there. And on that one night the entire glade fills with bright, shining moonlight. Then the medicine cats will pick a spot to lay down in, and therefore communicate with starclan through dreaming.
The leader will also go to MoonGlade when there is trouble in the clan. Any other time that they need the guidance of their ancient ancestors, they will go to MoonGlade. And when becoming leader, they must visit the clearing on a half-moon so that they can receive their nine lives from StarClan.
