LotusClan is a fairly ordinary clan, there are rules, there are ranks, but that's not to say they would just blend in with the crowd

LotusClan will always persevere or pull through, they're still here after all.

LotusClan is not a violent clan, always trying to make peace before jumping into battle, maybe at times trying too hard, but when necessary they will fight tooth and claw to their very last breaths. They don't as of now have any enemies other than nature itself, even if they do have another clan on their border. they think the best of everyone and never jump to conclusions.

Due to living in such dense, thorny undergrowth, the cats of LotusClan have developed thicker coats, to keep from getting torn to shreds on just a simple patrol. since this is a defence against thorns, it can also help against claws, during fights. Also the long haired cats fur doesn't knot as easily, this helps with it snagging on stuff

one of their signature hunting moves is slinking flat on the ground. This helps keep them from rustling the many bushes, so as not to alert their prey.

Seeing asone one clan lives on their borders, they don't check them daily. At around sunhigh the deputy assigns 1-2 cats to visit and mark about a third of their borders, the next day they do a different third. so each part gets checked once every three days.

ceremonies

the clan meetings are held at the pond, where the current leader will stand in the water to address the clan the traditional words are "let all cats old enough hunt gather around the pond for a clan meeting"

every full moon a clan gathering is held for the lotus ceremony this ceremony is dedicated to any cat that has done something important or just been helping out the clan a lot. only one cat may receive this award per moon, except in one instance wich i'm sure the elders would love to tell you all about, the award has to go to a cat that has done something since the previous ceremony, this also help encourage the clan to work harder so that they might get the honor. during the lotus ceremony the chosen cat will receive a lotus flower picked by the leader.

when a cat dies the clan will lay their body by the ponds shore, the deceased cat will then make their way to starclan through the reflection of stars in the pond, if they do not receive this ceremony, they may not make it to starclan, and rarely end up in the wrong clan's ancestors

camp

The camp is in one of the valleys. There is a "roof" of brambles and thorns that was built after a hawk attack, this roof also extends to the ground on the long side of the valley, so it's kind of enclosed in a defensive dome of thorns. The camp was chosen because of a small pond that fills it halfway, it has fish for an emergency food supply, it's accessible water for kits and elders alike, and also good for learning how to swim. The clan takes pride in the pond's beauty with its crystal blue water, and the lotuses that float within it. The dens are said to be carved by the paws of starclan themselves, they are deep caves in the hills surrounding the camp, there's more than enough room for a few hundred cats, as they lead deep within the earth, no cat has explored them very much at all. It's said that the farther into the caves you go the more they expand.

One of the many dangers in living in a valley is floods. When it rains too hard the dens seem to fill up surprisingly quickly, seeing as they're rumored to be never-ending. And so the kits learn to swim as early as they can, even if it is a rare occurrence. Another danger, this one EmberStar is blind to, is that they would be cornered in the case of an attack, there often isn't even a cat guarding the camp.

reputation

LotusClan is known to be a friendly clan that means no harm. Many cats agree with their peaceful ways. Some imagine as a perfect place where nothing goes wrong, but others just think they're dumb idiots blind to the hardships of life. They don't have any enemies either, is it their charm? or just luck?

The only bordering clan is HollowClan, both being peaceful clans they like each other fairly well. HollowClan respects LotusClan. Many of the cats have friends in the other clan.
