As an Instructional Designer with an education background, I dedicated years to serving students in the classroom. I then honed my skills for developing and presenting professional learning for  several years as an Instructional Coach and Mentor.  This led me on the path to Instructional Design, where I fell in love with each part of the process. I enjoy conducting needs analysis with project managers to develop learning objectives for the organization then collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure that the courses best meet the needs of diverse learners.  Utilizing adult learning theories, I design and develop engaging learning solutions for a variety of organizations.  Learning options include: blended learning, e-Learning, Instructor-led Trainings (ILT), Virtual Instructor-led Trainings (VILT), and various microlearning options.  

As a life-long learner, I strive to continually improve my own skills, and I desire to do the same for others.  Through my learning in the Applied Instructional Design Academy, I have been able to develop and grow my skills in the instructional design process.  

When I am not engaged in the instructional design process, you can find me enjoying the outdoors with family and friends or with my nose in a book.
