2020 proved to be a difficult year for hosting a traditional high-school graduation, especially with local COVID-19 restrictions in place. Thus, I, as the robotics team programming lead, and Alejandro Piña, the mechanical lead, figured the best we can do to help make our graduation just a bit funner is repurpose our 2020 FRC Robot to deliver diplomas in a socially distant fashion.

Evidently from the video, we lost round 71 of the LA Regional. However, we finally got the autonomous to target after not doing so in earlier rounds and identified flaws in robot design to address before our next planned competition, which unfortunately got cancelled due to COVID-19.

Control Diagram for the Arm. Gradbot uses PID loops. But the most difficult to make of all, was the arm, which needed a feedforward to counteract gravity.
