English Readers Theater
The second semester brings stories to the stage with our Readers Theater program. In partnership with local English teachers, I guide students through the art of oral storytelling, focusing on expression, rhythm, and vocal performance rather than just memorization.
This school-wide competition allows students to choose from a variety of engaging scripts and work together to bring them to life. It is a wonderful way for our students to build teamwork and find their confidence behind the microphone, turning literature into a lively, shared performance.
第二學期,我們的「讀者劇場」計畫將故事搬上了舞台。我與校內的英語老師合作,引導學生體驗口語敘事的藝術——我們不只是要求背誦,更著重於情感表達、節奏感以及聲音的演出。
這項全校性的競賽讓學生能從多樣化的趣味劇本中挑選喜愛的作品,並透過團隊合作賦予故事生命。這是一個讓學生建立團隊精神並在麥克風前找回自信的絕佳方式,將文學轉化為一場充滿活力的共同演出。

Friday Morning Proverbs
We kick off our Friday mornings with a moment of wisdom. During the assembly, I introduce a "Proverb of the Week," breaking down its meaning and showing students how to use these timeless sayings in daily life. It’s a great way to explore the deeper values and metaphors embedded in the English language.
To keep the learning alive, our Principal joins in the fun by quizzing students on proverbs from previous weeks. This active review turns our morning gathering into an interactive challenge, ensuring these meaningful lessons stick with our students long after the assembly ends.
我們以智慧的啟迪開啟週五的早晨。在全校集會上,我會介紹「每週英語諺語」,解析其中的含義並教導學生如何將這些經典名句應用在日常生活中。這是一個探索英語中所蘊含的深層價值觀與隱喻的絕佳方式。
為了讓學習保持活力,我們的校長也會參與其中,隨機抽問學生前幾週學過的諺語。這種互動式的複習讓早會變成了一場有趣的挑戰,確保這些富有意義的課程在集會結束後,依然深深烙印在學生的心中。
