Mabuhay and Hello! I’m Yman.
I am a teacher from the Philippines. I am part of Taiwan Foreign English Teacher Program and currently teaching at Shengang Junior High School.

Before I started my journey here in Taiwan, my home was San Jose del Monte in Bulacan, Philippines.
It’s a place I’m incredibly proud of. It’s known as the 'Rising City,' and you can really feel that energy there! Situated right where the plains of Bulacan meet the mountains, it’s a beautiful mix of busy city life and fresh, green hills.
Growing up there taught me the value of hard work and community, which are the same values I try to bring into my classroom every day. Even though I’m miles away now, a piece of SJDM stays with me in everything I do.
在來到台灣展開這段旅程之前，我的家鄉是菲律賓布拉干省的聖荷西德蒙特市（San Jose del Monte）。
這是一個讓我深感自豪的地方。它被譽為「新興之城」（Rising City），在那裡你真的能感受到那股蓬勃的活力！它坐落於布拉干平原與山脈的交匯處，完美融合了繁忙的都市生活與清新翠綠的山丘美景。
在那裡的成長過程教會了我刻苦耐勞與社群意識價值觀，這也是我每天在課堂上努力傳遞的精神。儘管現在遠在千里之外，聖荷西德蒙特的點點滴滴依然留存在我所做的每一件事中。

My Educational Philosophy
As a teacher of English, I believe that learning a language is like learning to ride a bicycle. You can study the mechanics and memorize the parts all day, but you won’t truly learn until you get on and start pedaling. Sometimes you might wobble or even fall, but that is exactly how you find your balance.

我深信學習語言就像學騎腳踏車。你可以花上一整天研究機械原理或背誦零件名稱，但除非你親自跨上車開始踩踏，否則你永遠無法真正學會。過程中你可能會搖晃，甚至跌倒，但那正是你學會平衡的必經之路。
