Dead Stock Project

Revive our skills and techniques as humankind
Let's upcycle, mend and make dead stock live again.

Inspired by the workshop culture that came to rise in recent years.

Dead Stock Project was created to enable consumers to deal with their own fashion waste locally, in a creative, fun, and instagrammable way. Our workshops create new items out of domestic garment waste, turning old t-shirt, cardigan, or jeans into household-useful items such as a new rug, slippers, or decoration. It is a hybrid of popular cultures: fashion, upcycle, and handmade. We inspire consumers to create one-of-kind items that would give new meaning to what could have end up in the garbage.

Local artists have been doing upcycle creations throughout the city, and yet they could become unnoticed, or outshined by global fashion chains. Through our Dead Stock Project, we want to empower local craftsmanship through our collaboration and push local artisan work to become retail ready.
