Our monthly Den Meetings depend on the Den. See the Den Page for specific information.

WHICH DEN AM I IN?
The Cub Scouting program is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grades. Dens are assigned by grade level:
Kindergarten are Lions
1st Graders are Tigers
2nd Graders are Wolves
3rd Graders are Bears
4th Graders are Webelos I
5th Graders are Webelos II / Arrow of Light (AOL)
Cub Scouts crossover to Scouts in the middle of 5th grade. They move on from Pack 75 and go a Troop of their choice. Long Beach Area Council has a large number of Troops to select from. Scouts should visit these Troops in 4th and 5th grade so they can determine where they'd like to crossover too.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DEN, A PACK, AND A TROOP?
A Den is your grade specific group (for example if you're a first grader you are in the Tiger Den). A Den typically ranges from 2-8 kids.
A Pack is all of the kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Pack 75 averages about 50 Cub Scouts in the Pack.
A Troop is a group of older Scouts (mid 5th grade through high school). When our Cub Scouts crossover during their fifth grade year, they join a Troop.
WHAT COUNCIL ARE WE IN?
We are in the Long Beach Council. The Council is a group of Scouts BSA employees responsible for the Packs, Troops, Crews and Ships in the area. Long Beach Council is responsible for about 3,000 Scouts in Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill, Avalon and Bellflower.
The Council holds Roundtable Meetings once a month where they discuss upcoming events. All Cub Scout Parents are invited to attend.
WHAT DISTRICT ARE WE IN?
Scouts in a Council are further divided into Districts. Our Pack is in the Iron Star District.
ARE WE CHARTERED THROUGH THE CHURCH?
No. Bethany Lutheran School opens their gym and classrooms to several organizations. Pack 75 graciously uses these facilities to host our Pack and Den Meetings. Pack 75 is currently chartered through Anaheim Chiropractic Services.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Cub Scouts is for boys and girls in K-5th grade. Members do NOT need to be from a specific school, church, organization, or city. Since our Cub Scouts often play other sports such as soccer and baseball, our Friday night meetings make it attractive to active Scouts.
Pack 75 typically has large numbers of kids from Bethany Lutheran School, Mark Twain Elementary and other nearby school and homeschool groups. Scouts have joined our group from many areas of both Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill, Los Alamitos, Los Altos and Bellflower.
If you can't join our group, contact us anyway and we can put you in touch with other Cub Scout Packs in the area!
HOW MUCH ARE FEES?
Annual Fees are significantly more affordable than many youth activities. Scouts also actively fundraise to help keep costs so low.

Webelos and AOL Dens may do additional camping/hiking activities throughout the year.
In addition, Pack 75 organizes an annual non-camping overnight trip to a destination that normally includes educational and historical elements. Past overnights include the USS Iowa, the Dinosaur Exhibit at Natural History Museum, the USS Midway, the Star of India in San Diego, and a Roar & Snore at the Santa Barbara Zoo.
