Loma Portal's Annual Giving Campaign!
Loma Portal's Annual Giving Campaign is back again! Has your child told you about the amazing experience he or she had in music class? Have you heard about the great new books in the library? How about our awesome STEAM lab?? These specialized classes and so much more are funded by the generous parents at Loma Portal Elementary through fundraisers and annual giving. Every dollar received through the Annual Giving Campaign goes directly towards enriching our children.
Annual giving provides vital resources to bridge the gap between what funds Loma Portal Elementary receives from the district and the actual cost of giving our children the best education possible.
Your child will benefit from the following programs – all of which are fully funded by our LPE Foundation!
Music - Ecological Schoolyard projects - Field Trips
Library - Computer programs used in classrooms - Classroom support
STEAM Lab - Teacher funding requests - P.E. support
Last year, our LPE Foundation spent more than $84,000 supporting our students and faculty!
That equates to over $200 per student.
Many schools ask for a set amount per student, however we feel any size contribution is greatly appreciated and will be used to directly benefit our children. Families, grandparents, alumni, and friends of Loma Portal Elementary aren encouraged to make donations to our annual fund.
All donations are tax deductible, and whether large or small, help us reach our goals.
