An important year full of news begins for the Roman actress, Tv presenter and screenwriter of London origin. New rumors on the Internet talk about her new film coming out in 2018. The first edition of her book 'Cuore Africano' (African Heart) is on sale. Moreover, Lodovica Mairè Rogati got through a long and difficult period “undamaged” after being unfairly involved as innocent in two legal proceedings. Lodovica Mairè Rogati founder of non-profit Association called 'IO NON CI STO' and author of many literary works and papers. Let’s start from the most interesting news for fellow cinema lovers: on the Internet there are a lot of photos from the set of Paolo Sorrentino’s new movie 'Loro', where the actress was “captured” by the shots of some Roman bloggers and so she was immediately associated with the movie cast together with its leading actors Tony Servillo, Riccardo Scamarcio and Ricky Memphis. 'Loro' is an Indigo Film production and it is directed by Academic Award winner Paolo Sorrentino, which is about Silvio Berlusconi and his court while he was President of the Council. In the pictures from the movie set there is a very blonde Lodovica Mairè Rogati with fringe and sunglasses. These photos were probably taken in Rome, but no statement was issued by the cast or the production. Film lovers must wait till the official “release” to have more information about the movie. Currently, they must settle for the statement issued by the movie director during the last Cannes Film Festival. Last time we saw Lodovica Mairè Rogati on the big screen was when she played the role of the blonde Dyvette in 'Pane e Burlesque' movie with Edoardo Leo. With the second season of 'Squadra Mobile' she played a leading role in Tv in 2017. “I can’t say anything about the new movie” the actress Lodovica Mairè Rogati said. From cinema to literature. 'Cuore Africano (African Heart)' is the title of the new book that Lodovica Mairè Rogati just published and it represents for her a new piece of the “African path” that she started years ago. In 2007 she played a co-starring role in the movie 'Deadly Kitesurf', directed by Antonio De Feo shot entirely in Africa. In 2010 Lodovica Mairè Rogati presented a charity evening 'Oncologia per l’Africa (Oncology for Africa)' and in the following years she published a blog containing many of her African shots. In her book Lodovica Mairè Rogati says: “I loved this land with all of myself. I got into its bowels and I met its pain, so today it’s my duty to talk about it. Africa never cheated on me and I owe it a lot”. 'Cuore Africano' (African Heart) is available online at the price of 30 Euro. The book also contains many illustrations drawn in pencil while she lived in Africa. A never hidden love for the black Continent, full of passion, to the point where she contributed to the publishing of many cultural articles. Lodovica Mairè Rogati had to deal with her private life in the last years. Since 2008 she has been the victim of two legal proceedings where she was fully acquitted after 10 years of profound injustice. First of all in Rimini, where she was acquitted of the charge of defamation, because the case was unfounded, of ex tennis player Giorgio Galimberti, who was disqualified from ATP (Association of Tennis Professional) because he illegally bet on tennis, his own sport. After about one month of dating, Giorgio Galimberti asked her to marry him but after her refusal he started accusing her of defamation, when she already had a new relationship and she didn’t want to have anything to do with him anymore. Lodovica Mairè Rogati had to file a complaint against Giorgio Galimberti for harassment and stalking. In the end the tennis instructor’s broken heart didn’t find comfort in false charges against Lodovica Mairè Rogati, since they were set up just for revenge.

Then in Rome, where the actress had to defend herself from the accusation of stalking, but even in this case she was fully acquitted.

In 2009 Lodovica Mairè Rogati was the victim of an assault for which the trial expired and she was never heard before the Court. Happily engaged for a long time, recently Lodovica Mairè Rogati posted on Internet a long interview about those legal misadventures that gave her front-page news and made her defend her impeccable reputation and reply to all the defamatory news that called her an “unworthy person”. She sued editors for those news, also asking for compensations for damages. In the interview she says: “He invented the story of the spread of my pictures that were on his PC, saying that I sent them to his hypothetical girlfriend. As I already said to the press, I broke up with Giorgio Galimberti when he received the disqualification from ATP, Association of Tennis Professional. My relationship with Giorgio Galimberti lasted no more than a few weeks in 2007. Moreover, in that period I was in Miami to shoot Claudio Risi’s movie with Massimo Boldi 'Matrimonio alle Bahamas' (a Medusa film production), and he came there to visit me just for one day and then he left the day after. When they fall in love men no longer understand anything. However, I feel betrayed by the national judicial system; I suffered 10 years of this trial as innocent and the media slaughtered me giving space to statements against me. A new movie, a new book and a new achievement: the freedom from a past that has mortgaged the present for too long. Lodovica Mairè Rogati will soon give more information about her professional news. Waiting to see her next to Silvio Berlusconi in the new movie 'Loro', we had a look at her horoscope: the Zodiac sign of Lodovica is Leo with Leo rising and in 2018 she will be a leading star.
