Lochman Market & Post has been handling daily necessities and postal services since 1963, operating out of a building that's been expanded several times as the community's needs have changed. Mrs. Flores manages both sides of the operation with the kind of efficiency that comes from knowing what everyone needs before they ask for it.
What we carry: Basic groceries, household items, farm supplies, propane, ice, and the small conveniences that save you a trip to Blanco. If we don't have it, Mrs. Flores usually knows where to get it or can order it in.
Postal services: Full U.S. mail services, package shipping, P.O. boxes, and serving as the unofficial information center for anyone who needs to know what's happening around town or how to get things done.
Hours: Monday-Friday 6 AM-7 PM, Saturday 7 AM-6 PM, Sunday 8 AM-2 PM. Postal services end 30 minutes before closing.
The community bulletin board by the front door is where people check for local announcements, items for sale, and community news before The Ledger catches up.
