*Lochman, Texas is a fictional community created as part of a collaborative storytelling project that celebrates the authentic spirit of small Hill Country towns. While our community exists in imagination, the stories, characters, and traditions we share reflect the real experiences of rural Texas life.
The Lochman Ledger welcomes contributions from writers interested in helping tell our ongoing story. Whether you want to write obituaries, letters to the editor, community news, or classified ads, there's always room for new voices in our digital pages.
Interested in contributing? Email lochmanledger@lochmantx.com or visit our contributors' guide to learn more about joining the project.
This website was created in 2025 to give our fictional community a digital home. For questions about the project or technical issues with the site, contact Russell at lochmanledger@lochmantx.com
