The next mastermind is coming soon!
The flywheel effect is a business model that describes how small wins can accumulate over time to create momentum that delivers compounding returns.
Effort to get it moving:
Imagine a large, heavy flywheel. Getting it spinning from a standstill requires a significant initial effort. You must push it with a lot of force before it gains momentum and starts spinning at a decent speed. The more massive the flywheel, the more effort it takes to get it going. This is similar to consistent effort over time to achieve a goal. Big achievements often require sustained effort, and the initial stages might feel like you need to make faster progress.
Effort required to maintain motion:
Once a flywheel is spinning, it stores energy and keeps rotating due to its inertia. While some effort is still required to keep it going (to overcome friction), it's much less effort than what was needed to get it started. This is similar to the concept of the flywheel effect in business. With consistent effort, you build momentum and progress. As your project or business gains traction, it becomes easier to maintain that progress because of the momentum you've created.
If you feel super busy, you may not have a system or cadence to the things you want to exist in your life, and you're spending too much time doing things that you either don't want to do or shouldn't be doing. Purge the unnecessary and reinvest in good things through flywheel efforts.
Intention:
With our connections and conversations.
Systemization:
Being organized and efficient in our efforts to allow for greater impact at scale.
Inspiration:
What good are our connections & systems if they don't inspire others? Through this "flywheel effect" you will inspire others to greatness and join a cause beyond themselves.
