My research seeks to explore, understand, and test behavioural insights that can accelerate the mass market adoption of low-carbon technologies.
I use mixed research methods to build an understanding of sustainable behaviours, how they spread, and how to drive them, from online self-ethnography and interviews, behaviourally-informed surveys, choice experiments and RCTs.Â
I apply a range of behavioural science theories, models, tools and frameworks, including the OECD's BASIC framework, COM-B, 3Bs and others.
I am particularly interested in understanding the mechanisms and effects of peer-to-peer influence, evolving social norms and social tipping points and assessing their potential to enable sustainable change.
