Yearly Check In's

Who 

• I will be doing yearly check ins with grades 9-12 for both Fairmount and Lidgerwood Schools

What & Why

• Yearly Check in Goals:

  • Get to know students individually

  • Students can get to know me

  • Learn about your interests

  • Seeing what I can do to support you throughout the school year

  • What you would like to see implemented in the school counseling program

  • Checking in to see how things are:

    • Academically

    • Social Emotionally

    • Post Secondary preparation

  • Look at the needs of the group as a whole and individually to better serve students' needs 

Where

• These check ins will be one on one with Mrs. Sundquist in her office

When

• These check ins will be conducted during semester one, the goal is to get most check ins done by the end of Quarter 1 and the start of Quarter two

• The duration of these check ins will be 10-20 minutes long based on the needs of the individual

• Students will set up a time to meet up with Mrs. Sundquist that best fits in with their schedule
