My research examines how meanings and uses of technologies are socially constructed and how these constructions shape organizational outcomes ranging from work experiences to market evolution. Using ethnographic and qualitative methods, I study technologies including police body cameras (published in Organization Science), ocean energy (R&R at Academy of Management Journal), snow guns for snowmaking at ski resorts (R&R at Academy of Management Journal), e-cigarettes, and human composting.Â
I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Southern California. I received my PhD in Organization Studies from Boston College. I hold an MBA and MS from Bentley University and a BA in Economics from Brandeis University.
