김예솔 Yesol Kim

김예솔은 현재 스웨덴에서 활동하는 한국인 산업디자이너다. 김예솔은 6살 때 장애를 갖게 됐고 그 이후 휠체어 생활은 그의 디자인 작업에 큰 영향을 주었다. 그는 가구 브랜드인 릴라엘리펀트(Lilla Elefant)를 2020년 스웨덴인 목공예장인과 함께 설립했다. 그들의 디자인은 사회의 정상성에 도전하고 인클루시브 디자인에 대한 인식을 높이는 데 기여하고 있다. 릴라엘리펀트의 가구는 한국에서 아이앰히어(I am here) 온라인, 오프라인 매장에서 만날 수 있다. 

Yesol Kim is an award-winning Korean industrial designer based in Sweden. Since her disability age of 6, her lifestyle in a wheelchair has given her insights into design works. She founded a furniture brand, Lilla Elefant in 2020 with a Swedish carpenter, Peder Karlsson. Their design challenges the social norms about disability and raises awareness of inclusive design.
