김향수 Hyangsoo Kim

성공회대학교 젠더연구소의 연구교수이다. 현재 사회건강연구소 연구위원으로 활동하며, 대학에서 여성학과 질적연구방법을 가르치고 있다. 페미니즘 관점으로 아프고 골골한 사람들의 경험과 사유를 통해 우리 사회의 정상성 규범이 어떻게 작동하는지, 그리고 어떤 변화가 필요한지에 대해 연구하고 있다. 『골골한 청년들』(2022), 『결국 사람을 위하여』(2019), 『기록되지 않은 노동』(2014), 『엄마의 탄생』(2013)의 공저자로 참여했다.

Hyangsoo kim works as Research Professor at Institute of Gender Studies, Sungkonghoe University. She teaches gender studies and qualitative research methods. Her main interest is about the way how normality works in our society and how we can change it in the perspective of feminism through the sick and troubled people's experience and thoughts. She published several books as co-author; Youth with Disease(2022), Therfore, for the people(2019), Unwritten Labor(2014), The birth of Mother(2013).
