Food production in urban space is constantly under threat. Allotment gardens, urban farms, and other forms of food production are rarely protected as green spaces and often sacrified for "urban development" projects. This session brings together scholars and activists from cities in Europe for an exchange on strategies and narratives to activate to best protect these valuable spaces.
