Our summer programing consists of four sessions lasting two weeks, and one fifth session of one week. You are welcome to sign your child up for any one session, combinations of sessions, or all summer long! Every two week time period is centered around a unique theme that has been selected based on the interests of children from years past. These themes drive our activities and programing for the present session. Furthermore, each child will have the opportunity to attend at least one field trip throughout a session. Themes, information, and pricing for 2026 can be found below. Field trip information can be found in the programs tab.
Week of 6/22/26 through of 7/3/26 ** closed July 3 & 4
During this session, campers will have the opportunity to work together to build a cohesive community at camp. Field trips will serve as inspirations for teambuilding, exploring our local community, and Rising Hawk traditions. While at camp, we will have the chance to explore Rising Hawk values and our home traditions. The Rising Hawk Way: Counselors and campers create a value and behavior constitution to uphold with each other.
Week of 7/6/26 through 7/17/26
During this session, campers will have the opportunity to get an introduction to outdoor survival skills and challenge their inner scientists. Through collaborative building and tinkering projects, campers will learn fire making, simple machines, fort building, wild crafting and orienteering while exploring our nature neighborhood. Daily activities will include introduction to hand tools, fire building and safety, natural food and plant ID, carving and whittling, making solar ovens, and more!
Week of 7/20/26 through 7/31/26
This session we will use some of our favorite books and stories as inspiration, including the return of our popular Wizard Week! Campers will experience opportunities to create pinch pots, wands and spells, flower crowns, potions, art installations in the woods, wild craft, and utilize open ended natural materials to entice creativity and imagination.
Week of 8/3/26 through 8/14/26
During this session, campers will have the opportunity to be active outdoors through sports and other activities. Campers will learn new skills at their own pace. Campers may have the opportunity to participate in competitive games, bike rides, hiking trips, and good old fashion fun! This session will culminate in a Rising Hawk Olympic Games.
Extended Summer Camp Week
Week of 8/17/26-8/21/26
This session is just 1 week long and will extend all the themes from above weeks, as well as be filled with plenty of water play, games and fun before we all hop back into the school year!
