I'm really excited about using Seesaw because it supports strong relationships between teachers, students, and families. Together on Seesaw, we can support and celebrate learning inside and outside the classroom! With Seesaw, home-school communication is centered on the student and their learning.

Please check your messages EVERY day to ensure you do not miss any important information. I will use Seesaw for effective communication for every occasion (instead of paper copies).

Announcements / Reminders to the whole class (students, families, or both)
Reporting (no school reports as in the past as learning will be shared in ‘real-time’). You will also see where your child is at within their Progress (Learning Profile). Just click on the folder next to their name and choose the folder that says 'Progress (Learning Profile) and click on the link to see where your child is at and what their goals are.
How to find your child’s Academic Progress on Seesaw:
Seesaw is our real-time reporting and partnership tool. Therefore, we report on student progress and achievement through Seesaw in real-time, throughout the year. We no longer have mid-year or end-of-year reports.
For current Academic results, please keep an eye on and click the green Progress (Learning Profile) folder in your child’s journal. There is a link that you can click on to view progress and teacher comments.
In this folder, you will see updated Academic Progress graphs throughout the year. At the bottom of the graphs, you will also find your child’s Goals.
We also report on student achievement to whānau through termly Blueprint assessments, which will include a teacher comment, saying which level / stage your child is working at. Please keep an eye on and click the grey Blueprint folder in your child’s journal to view achievement.
