Welcome to Little Adventurers Independent Daycare!
Independently operating home daycare since January 2024, I believe children learn best when they’re free to simply be kids. When a child feels safe, comfortable, and supported in being themselves, real learning happens. Through play, exploration, creativity, and even mistakes, children begin to understand the world around them at their own pace. My role is to gently guide, encourage, and support them as they grow in confidence and independence.
Screen-free every day! By removing daily screen time, children fully engage with the world, build social skills, and grow their creativity. Boredom often becomes a doorway to imagination, problem-solving, and independent play. (The only exceptions are occasional special days or the rare challenging diaper change when a brief distraction may help.)
Each day also includes guided activities that explore foundational themes like colours, letters, shapes, animals, numbers, and more. These learning moments are woven naturally into play, crafts, stories, and hands-on exploration — making learning fun and meaningful, not forced.

Daycare Provider
Hi! I’m Briana Moore, owner and primary caregiver of Little Adventurers Independent Daycare since 2024.
Caring for children has always felt like a natural talent of mine. Although I originally went to school for engineering, I realized after graduating that my true passion was working with children. Opening my daycare has been an incredibly rewarding journey. While there are always ups and downs, watching children learn, laugh, and grow makes it all worthwhile.
I’ve worked at four summer camps with recognized organizations, including the Kitchener MUSEUM and the Salvation Army, and have provided childcare for children ages 1 and up for many years. I also have experience supporting a child with non-verbal autism, strengthening my child care abilities.
I hold up-to-date Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification, along with a current Vulnerable Sector Police Check, so you can feel confident your little adventurer is in safe and caring hands.
