I am a library automation and digitization expert with extensive experience in implementing and managing library systems. My work encompasses over 15 projects involving systems such as KOHA, DSpace, and Greenstone, focusing on enhancing library operations and accessibility.

My research interests span health informatics, information behaviour, knowledge management, library and information science, and misinformation. I am dedicated to exploring how technology can be leveraged to improve information management and accessibility in various domains. I focus on developing innovative digital solutions that enhance library services, support effective knowledge management, and address challenges related to misinformation. My work aims to create more efficient, accessible, and trustworthy information systems that better serve diverse user needs.

Short Bio

Md. Liton Ali is a researcher specializing in Information Studies, with a strong focus on information behavior, digital libraries, and the impact of technology on information accessibility. He graduated with top honors from the University of Dhaka, where he earned his degrees in Information Science and Library Management.

Throughout his career, Md. Liton Ali has contributed to the implementation of advanced library management systems in various institutions, enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of information resources. His research interests drive his work, as he explores innovative solutions to optimize digital libraries and improve user interaction with information systems.

Currently working in a multicultural library environment, Md. Liton Ali is dedicated to advancing research in Information Studies and is committed to contributing to the academic community through his ongoing work and future PhD studies.
