Promoted careers in the landscape horticulture profession and the importance of designing nature into our lives through various programs such as: Green Street, Design Challenge, Skills Ontario Competitions and summer camps, experiential learning days and more! Worked with the Horticulture Educators Association to create an online resource hub and professional development opportunities.
Working on multiple projects simultaneously and reporting progress to the head Landscape Architect. While there I: collected and analyzed information and community feedback, designed and created base plans, selected and recommended plant material, created project proposal design boards, presented project progress to community members and city officials and created and edited management plans.
Responsible for the orientation of new residents, resolving conflicts, organizing 1-2 community events per week; gathering materials, creating and distributing promotional material, running the events, and submitting project summaries.
Responsible for creating lesson plans and teaching classes with ages varying from 2 years old to adults. Helped plan and run swim team events including Niagara swim meets. Introduced a recycling program to the pool and an aquatic trivia board to promote public engagement.

University of Guelph - 2015 - 2016Graduated with honours from the Bachelors of Landscape Architecture. My undergraduate thesis was on using edible plants to promote community engagement of public areas, and included a landscape design for Mc. Farland house park along the Niagara Parkway employing the elements of my paper into a design.
I completed my first year with honours out of this 3 year program, and decided to leave the program for a job opportunity with Landscape Ontario.
Currently my degree in technological education with a Broad Based Technology in Green Industries. Scheduled to graduate April, 2021.
I enjoy working with youth and educating youth and the community about horticulture. I am confident taking on leadership roles and through different organizations such as the University of Guelph Horticulture Club, Rotary House, Family Housing and the City of Niagara Falls have designed, planned, organized and presented Landscape and Horticulture related projects to community members, students, youth and city officials.
