Dear Lisa,
I'm a 15-year-old girl from Japan and I will join the summer camp in England. I'm pretty shy and inflexible, thus I was so worried about whether I am able to adapt to the environment in London, especially when I have to share my room with other girls. What should I do to get along well with everyone in the camp, as well as my roommates?
Dear Lisa in Wonderland,
I’m a 12-year-old girl from France and I am going to have a project about American culture next week. I was hoping you could share your insights on which aspect of American culture you feel is the most typical through your three-week experience in the USA. Thank you!

Dear Lisa from Lisa in Wonderland,
I am 16 years old and I'm from Vietnam, too. I will be in California this summer. Since this is the first time I've ever been to the USA as well as traveled abroad so do you have any advice for me?
-- Nghê Võ Phúc An --
Dear Ayumi,
Everything will be alright! I used to have the same thoughts as you but it turned out to be a different thing. I had joined a summer camp in the USA and I thought I couldn't make friends with other students. However, we just need a day to get to know each other and easily get along well. Therefore, you don't have to worry about that, just be nice to others and they will treat you the same way.
Dear Belle,
Thanks for your question. I have been particularly impressed by the culture of America, which values fairness and freedom. I have to say that it is impressive to see how Americans respect equality across all ages and genders, allowing everyone to freely express their opinions, think creatively, and speak their minds without any restrictions, even in the educational environment. That's my opinion about the typical American culture. I hope my sharing will be useful for your project. Good luck!
Dear Nghê Võ Phúc An,
Since my summer camp in the USA just lasted for a few weeks, I didn't know much about American customs and culture yet. But I have learned several things from my teacher (Ms.Megan). They are quite useful for me, so I hope it will be the same for you as well.
1) When attending a study or work environment or presentation, it's best to avoid using social media or electronic devices unless you need them for taking notes on reports.
2) When dining out and in need of a napkin, it's important to ask for a napkin instead of a tissue since the tissue refers to paper used for a runny nose, which could lead to confusion.
These are two pieces of advice I've received from Ms.Megan!
