In a world that moves at the speed of the scroll, Slow Image, Fast World invites us to look differently. Inspired by the tactile language of analog photography, the editorial embraces slowness as a way of seeing, where every frame is intentional, every imperfection becomes part of the story.
Photographed by @tilvonandi and styled by @francerto, the series reflects the quiet sophistication of @loropiana through a visual narrative that values presence over immediacy. In dialogue with the theme of PARADOX, it explores the coexistence of two opposing rhythms: the permanence of the analog image and the acceleration of contemporary life.
MY ROLE
For the Loro Piana editorial Slow Image, Fast World, created for DRY Magazine Issue 31: PARADOX, I was responsible for capturing and editing behind-the-scenes video content, documenting the atmosphere, creative process, and key moments throughout the shoot. Alongside video production and post-production, I oversaw on-set coordination, ensuring that operations ran smoothly and efficiently while supporting the team in bringing the creative vision to life. From capturing authentic behind-the-scenes moments to editing the final video, my role focused on translating the essence of the shoot into engaging visual content while maintaining a cohesive and refined aesthetic aligned with the brand’s identity.
THE TEAM
Under the creative direction of photographer Til von Andi and stylist Francesco, the Slow Image, Fast World editorial explored the contrast between the timeless, tactile nature of analog photography and the fast-paced rhythm of contemporary life. Created for DRY Magazine Issue 31: PARADOX, the project brought together a multidisciplinary team of photographers, stylists, models, hair and makeup artists, assistants, and editorial creatives to translate this concept into a refined visual narrative. In collaboration with Loro Piana, the team embraced intentional imagery, subtle imperfections, and quiet sophistication, creating an editorial that celebrates the beauty of slowing down in a world driven by immediacy.
