Boulder, Colorado is about 30 miles north-northwest of Denver. It is a hiker's paradise, with the Rocky Mountains to the north and the Flatirons to the west. Downtown Boulder’s pedestrian Pearl Street Mall includes art galleries, cafes, restaurants and boutiques. Pearl Street is a just short walk from the University of Colorado campus. Tack on a few days before or after LIPS to enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

Boulder lodging is quite expensive, so Fiske Planetarium staff have volunteered to help shuttle LIPS 2022 to campus from Louisville, CO; buses also run from Louisville to campus. Hotels in Louisville are significantly more affordable. Here are a few options:
