During the final celebration marking the end of the Innovation in the Heartland Project, teachers used threads to represent the connections they made between each others student-led school and community design projects.

Some shared an experience that made their own hometown feel less alone with the issues they were facing. Others celebrated inspiration another school's project gave them for future ambitions for similar place-based learning.
