facilitating high-quality PD
Creativity is beyond Curiosity.
Inspiring innovation is developing in self-iteration.
To understand concepts often I layer them, not just figuratively but physically, and the eMINTS Instructional Model was no exception.
I have made literal transparencies out of the diagrams I make for Hollow Heartland, as journal trying to find a way to help educators like myself.
The Instructional Model of eMINTS has four quadrants. Each supports the other from community of learners to authentic learning. I layered them over the Instructional Model to discover common themes.

Teacher Attitudes :
When, first year teacher attitudes toward teaching are placed on a circular calendar the teachers' needs align with the eMINTS instructional model and subsequently the DTI framework.
Inspire and Network:
Affiliate Trainers should inspire teachers with modeling to actively engage in the design of high quality lessons from June to August while teachers Anticipate the upcoming school year. When the teacher enters Survival-mode in September through November, teachers should explore a growing network and community of learners that support each other through the low of Disillusionment.
Mentor and Empower:
Trainers should mentor teachers to guide students through authentic learning that is project, place, and culture based as students take the lead in the engineer phase during the winter. Rejuvenation occurs when trainers empower teachers who pass that power to students who maximize their use of technology to explain their academic and social accomplishments. In May, the students and teachers shuold be encouraged undergo Reflection as they elaborate on the ambitions for next year to start again after the summer.

Using my training with eMINTS, I have been able to Facilitate High-Quality Professional Development during multiple conference sessions.
One of the most rewarding was Interface in 2023, where I celebrated and shared Design through Inquiry.
Using sticky-notes, we mirrored the Google video to make a Rubik's Cube grid where the phrase: Creativity is more than Curiosity, was most born.
