Hello. My name is Nicholas Anthony Linke. I am an eMINTS Educational Program Coordinator that has completed the Affiliate Trainer program from the eMINTS National Center.

After 11 years of teaching in rural districts in Missouri, my passion for education had faded. The pandemic and social distancing impacted us all, but it was the lingering isolation for me. Many teachers dedicate themselves to their students, invest personal income in classroom supplies, spend hours of time lesson planning at home, and repeatedly stay at school for games and photocopies. 

Teachers exhaust their patience on reminding students of expectations, repeating directions endlessly, and reimagining another way to help students understand "why school?" I was no different. After 11 years, and countless pages journaling, I felt hollow. So without another job offer, I resigned my tenure and left education for good... or so I thought.

Instead, my wife after reading my journals, which eventually became Tangents, discovered eMINTS National Center. The eMINTS Instructional Model matched my ambitions and own realizations about education, it was a moment of rejuvenation. So, in 2022, I answered the call to join eMINTS National Center and started my journey as an Affiliate Trainer.
