The LinK4All Project is a homegrown initiative of Western Visayas to leverage the coordination and collaboration mechanism of the Regional Development Council to solve the region's road safety challenges.
The Western Visayas Road Safety Action Plan 2026-2028 is made up of six focus areas corresponding to the five pillars of the PRSAP while also integrating the global focus area on multimodal transport and land use planning which serves as the sixth focus area.
The Ligtas na Kalsada for All (LinK4All) Project, a homegrown collaborative and multisectoral initiative of Western Visayas, has captured the attention of the United Nations (UN). During his mission to the Philippines, UN Special Envoy for Road Safety Mr. Jean Todt met with representatives from the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) on September 10, 2025 at the UN Country Office in Mandaluyong City.
The Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) Region VI and the Iloilo Business Club (IBC) jointly hosted the Ligtas na Kalsada for All (LinK4All) Summit Workshop on August 6 – 7, 2025, bringing together 65 stakeholders from the national government agencies, provincial and highly urbanized city local government units, professional organizations, academia, and youth groups to chart the region’s road safety priorities.
