They've taken to the road! Toddlers can play and explore in a safe (and entertaining!) environment.
Everything in our toddler classroom is set up to accommodate the needs of little explorers. This is due to the fact that there is a lot going on at this age. It's a good sign if your child is constantly exploring and discovering new things because it means they're learning and discovering new things.
Making art, stacking blocks, reading books—no matter what your toddler enjoys doing or where they are in their development, we'll work with them to explore their interests (and discover new ones!) while they play and learn.
Activities such as sorting, counting, and measuring things assist developing minds in understanding science and math concepts. Simple daily routines help us to improve their concentration and memory. Physical skills such as learning to walk or roll a ball are also encouraged by teachers.
At this age, children begin to form relationships with their classmates and teachers. We use social and emotional skill-building tools such as feelings magnets and puppets to assist them in learning about their own feelings as well as noticing the feelings of other people around them.
Infants and toddlers build their vocabulary one or two words at a time by pointing to objects and expressing their needs to their caregivers. They also engage in prewriting and prereading activities, such as scribbling on paper and turning pages in books, to prepare for writing and reading.
Toddlers express themselves creatively through the use of materials such as clay, as well as through movement and dance to simple children's songs.
Once your toddler is ready, they will be moved to our prekindergarten program
