Lil' Einstein's Learning Academy in Elkton infant program is designed to meet the specific needs of each child from the age of six weeks to twelve months.. We are committed to working in partnership with our parents from the moment their child enters our classroom. In order to better understand their child and their schedule prior to the first day of school, we require our parents to complete an extensive questionnaire prior to enrollment. On top of that, we recommend that parents take the time to write down any and all of the information they would like our teaching professionals to be familiar with. With the understanding that the parent is the primary caregiver and is the one who is most familiar with their child, we will carefully review and adhere to all requests made.
In addition to the exceptional care your baby will receive, we will begin incorporating our individualized curriculum to ensure that your baby stays on task and achieves their developmental milestones at the appropriate stage for their age and stage of development. While your child is in our care, we are committed to loving, nurturing, and protecting them at all times. All of the events of the day (diapering, meals, sleep pattern, etc...) will be documented in detail for each child at the conclusion of each day. We believe that the program we have developed is an excellent infant program, and we are confident that you will feel the same way as well.
Putting your child in the care of someone else is a big decision. To ensure that the transition goes as smoothly as possible, everyone at our centers, particularly our naturally gifted infant teachers, will collaborate with you. When you walk into our infant classroom, you'll immediately notice how much we care about making your child feel safe, loved, and prepared to explore the world.
Yes, we do have a curriculum specifically designed for infants! Your infant is in the prime of brain development, and they are just beginning to make connections with the people and things in their environment. Our curriculum is specifically tailored to infants and is intended to aid in the development of their brains in important ways.
We incorporate a variety of early literacy activities into our daily routine. To keep them entertained, we read a lot of books, point and name objects (table! car! ), listen to their baby babble, and converse and make sounds back to them
To encourage the development of their creative side, we touch and feel different textures (such as sticky and soft), express feelings through movement, listen to music, and play toy instruments with the children.
We work on memory skills, engage all five senses, and copy simple actions, all of which contribute to the development of baby's brain power. Whatever stage of development your child is in, our caring teachers will help them reach their physical milestones.
Infants' emotional well-being is extremely important. Therefore, our teachers provide plenty of cuddles and assist them in expressing themselves through sounds, facial expressions, and physical movement. They also begin to form friendships with other babies and teachers during this period.
We also have rooms for toddlers in the Elkton area!
