Viper is Cobra's best friend and confident. He's been part of her life since she was seven, often the one who hung out with her when no one else would. He isn't medically mute, but by choice as he doesn't have much to say. However, when he needs someone to listen to him, he knows how to get their attention.

Viper doesn't have a consistent job, but does various jobs for whoever is willing to pay him. He shares an apartment with Adder, but sometimes sleeps on Cobra's couch. He is the only one of Cobra's friends Starkiller approves of.
