SUBMIT ABSTRACT – Book Discussion
SUBMIT ABSTRACT – Book Discussion
During the conference we will convene book discussion sessions. We envisage book panels for the discussion of four to six books. To submit a book for discussion, the author must have published the monograph, or editor(s) the collection, within two years of the submission date for abstracts to the conference (21 March 2025). The author / at least one of the editors must attend the session and partake in the book panel discussion and can also be presenting a paper or poster at the session. If accepted, the author or editor will need to send a copy of the book (in pdf format, etc) to the team in advance of the event.
Abstracts should be a maximum of 200 words, and you should also provide a short biography of no more than 100 words. You’ll also need to supply your affiliation and other profile and contact details.
The BSP and UCD welcome multi-author / multiple editor book presentations. These can be presented by a single presenter, or by multiple presenters. If presented by a single author / editor only that person need submit (with all the other authors/editors details added in the notes field). If to be presented by multiple authors/editors each person presenting should individually submit the proposal to the system (each of them including the other authors’/editors' details in the notes field).
