Bridget M. Lindbloom and Charles McShane have proudly served on the Aileen S. Andrew Orland Park Public Library Board as Trustees since 2019. With their terms up, they ask for your support in their re-election efforts.

Lindbloom and McShane have worked diligently for the last six years to bring improvements and enhancements to the Orland Park Library. Here are a list of accomplishments and projects that Lindbloom and McShane are proud to have supported:
Completed a major renovation which included the addition of the Backyard, the Sensory Room, the Teen Loft, the Nest (nursing room), increased meeting room space, the Donor Wall, and improved IT access, among many other things.
Insisted on an engagement letter with Klein Thorpe and Jenkins after discovering there had never been one.
Pushed to go out to bid for a new auditing firm after several years with the same firm. Lauterbach & Amen was hired to do complete audit and discovered several oversights by previous firm
Conducted a Capital Needs Assessment in 2022 to help us plan through 2031.
Added two parking spots designated for our Veterans
Established Library of Things.
Celebrated 20th anniversary of building on Ravinia in 2024.
Replaced sign with a nicer and added two additional signs - brick monuments with lighting 10.24
Hired new library director and assistant director
Completion of IGA with Village for the new building - we came in under budget and received over $600K back 7.23
Several building improvements:
HVAC replacement
Replacement of rooftop compressor unit
Boiler replacement
Roof replacement
Resurfaced parking lot 2021
Held gala fundraiser in conjunction with the building renovations. It was originally planned to be an in-person event but with the onset of Covid, we pivoted to a successful virtual event.
Accepting a Certificate of Appreciation from the United States Coast Guard
At the dedication of the Veterans' parking spot.
We look forward to serving the Orland Park Community once again at the "jewel of the south suburbs" - The Aileen S. Andrews Orland Park Public Library.
