Associate Professor, Department of Economics and Empirical Legal Studies, Charles University Faculty of Law    

I am an economist focusing on Economic Analysis of Law, Economics of Crime, Regulation, Taxation, and similar policy-relevant Applied Micro topics. 

I received my PhD from the University of Chicago. Between 2018 and 2024, I chaired the Department of Economics and Empirical Legal Studies at the Charles University Faculty of Law. Previously, faculty member at CERGE-EI, and executive director of CERGE-EI's think tank, IDEA. Since 2022, member of the National Economic Council of the Government (NERV).
