I am an economist specializing in the Economics of Crime, Economic Analysis of Law, and Public Economics.

I received my PhD from the University of Chicago in 2003. Currently I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Institutional Economics at the University of Economics in Prague. Before that, I was an Assistant Professor / Researcher / Deputy Director at CERGE-EI, an international academic institution in Prague.
