Q: What is Libersophy?
A: Libersophy is a branch of Right-Wing Libertarianism that attempts to blend ideas from the Traditionalist branch of of Right-Libertarianism with some left-leaning, moderate and/or apolitical viewpoints that we feel are consistent with Right-Wing LIbertarianism taken to it's logical extreme. Derives from the words Liber (Latin for free) and Ophia (Greek for wise).
In addition to the political beiefs, we also have philosophical links to Existential and Moral Nihilism and a negligent Higher Power. However, these views are not required.
Q: What is Right-Libertarianism?
A: Right-Libertarianism is, or at least ought to be, the political philosophy in which you can do whatever you please, so long as you don't violate property rights. We believe there are two branches of Right-Libertarianism: the Traditionalist Branch (or Traditionalism) and the Libersophic Branch (Libersophy).
Q: Why separate from the Traditionalist branch?
A: The Traditionalist branch, despite having good ideas, is corrupted by non-Libertarian ideas, such as anti-abortion advocacy, cultural traditionalism, racial politics, and other bad ideas. Libersophy is designed to work against these ideas.
Q: Why make a political ideology that is Nihilisistic?
A: Because we believe that Nihilism simply doesn't prohibit any political ideology from being followed, it just says that the ideology is factually wrong. And well, I just like being political, and found that no other ideology suits my ideas. So, Libersophy. Also, it's pragmatic
Q: Doesn't God contradict Nihilism?
A: 1. No, not inherently. It is possible for a Supreme, Omnipotenet being to exist without giving the world meaning.
2. We aren't looking specifically for God, just a higher power; which could be a deity, rule, or something else beyond the matierial world.
