Pan-Africanism is an ideology and movement that encourages the solidarity of Africans worldwide.[1] It is based on the belief that unity is vital to economic, social, and political progress and aims to “unify and uplift” people of African descent.[2]The ideology asserts that the fates of all African peoples and countries are intertwined. At its core Pan-Africanism is “a belief that African peoples, both on the continent and in the Diaspora, share not merely a common history, but a common destiny”.[3]
The largest Pan-African organization is the African Union.[4]
As Millere states, "The black has but one chance to be free of this apparent, growing, extreme behavior, and/or psycho-sociological disadvantage. (1.) He must be educated sociologically, and clinically, on why he reacts the way he/she does. (2.) He must understand that this syndrome is experienced by every black, brown, and yellow African around the globe. (3.) He must fight against the powers that put him, and his ancestors, in this present condition; which continues to have a negative affect against his psyche (or mind). Pan-African Religious study can do this because it speaks to the black man's identity, culture, economics, education, healthcare; and most importantly his spiritual and ancestral relation the "Jesus" (or Yehoshua - The African Messiah)."
