Undergraduate Research

The group is always looking for motivated and hard-working students to pursue meaningful research projects during the summer and throughout the academic year.

Stevens undergraduate students who have worked in the group have gone to pursue graduate studies at: MIT, Cal Tech, University of Colorado, Harvard, Case Western, University of Delaware, Duke, and Johns Hopkins, among others. Several have stayed at Stevens. Others have gone on to successful careers in industry.

Stevens BME undergrad Aidan Zerdoum working in a lab at the University Medical Center Groningen (Netherlands) within an undergraduate summer experience program coordinated between the Libera lab and the University of Groningen for many years.

At Stevens, Aidan Zerdoum did 3-D imaging of bacterial biofilms using a Zeiss Auriga FIB/SEM.
