I chose to do my own mother, Mary Linda, for an age make-up design. I have similar features, and thought it would be interesting to see how much I could resemble her with age make-up.
This is an image of Betty White and I love it because it shows how dimples get deeper with age.
This is an image of a happy elderly lady and I love it because it shows how the laugh lines deepen.
This is an image of grey hair and I love it because it's long and thick like mine, but all silver, which mine will be some day.
This is an image of an elderly lady with big round eyes, and I love it because it has similar deep circles to my mom.
This is an image of me and my mom and I love it because it shows our faces side by side.
This is an image of my mom 10 years ago and I love it because it shows her dimples.
This is an image of my mom on Thanksgiving and I love it because she's really happy and relaxed.
This is an image of my and I love it because it shows a time when she id more tires and stressed, and you can see it in her darker eye circles and more pronounced creases between her eyebrows.
This is an image of my mom wearing looking upward and I love it because it shows most clearly the aging changes to her neck.
This is an image of my mom with make-up and hair fixed and I love it because it shows the shape of her cheeks well for highlight and shadow, as well as the neutral lip color she usually uses..

Overall, I feel that the application went as I expected. I felt that I do resemble my mom quite a bit. I was not very pleased with the brows. the brown liner was too dark for her fair complexion, and my brows have a much wider shape. She was blonde before going grey. For a future application, I would try blocking the brows and penciling in nore narrow, lighter brown arces, or possibly having my brows shaped to her natural shape, and using a lighter brow gel, or hair white to lighten them. Wig styling was not the focus of this assignment, so that could be improved to match her look more. To be really convincing, blue contact lenses would complete this transformation.
