My primary research interest is encouraging consumers to live a healthier lifestyle, which includes frequent exercise and healthy eating. In my dissertation, I examine how to help fixed mindset consumers maintain healthy lifestyles despite their lower starting point (compared with growth mindset consumers).

My research interests lie in the intersection of artificial intelligence and consumer psychology. More specifically, I examine questions such as how people choose which AI-based system to use and how using AI systems for enhanced writing (e.g., Google's smart compose) impacts writers and readers.

My research focuses on online behavior and personal values. We explore how consumers' values can be predicted from their web search history. We propose an implicit method for evaluating consumers' values, based on their web search history (rather than self-report). We further explore the value-related variation in the willingness to disclose information online.

My research focuses on prosocial behavior and its' interpersonal characteristics. I mainly focus on mindsets:
Growth (versus Fixed) mindset, the belief that personality traits are malleable (fixed) and can (cannot) change over time, Scarcity (versus abundance) mindset, the saliency of resources as scarce (rather than abundant), and their interactive effect on prosocial behavior.
