Resources related behaviors: pro-social behaviors (monetary donations [i.e., charity giving],

time donations [i.e., voluntarism, reviews, citizen science],

pro-environment behaviors (nature conservation, pro-outgroup behavior), health behaviors,

consumers’ trust in the food chain.

Psychological mechanisms influencing consumer behavior: psychological distance, self-disclosure,

moral emotions (empathy and guilt), type of behavior (dependent vs. autonomous), choice deferral.

The content of human motivation: Mindsets (growth versus fixed; abundance versus scarcity),

personal values (i.e., benevolence and universalism values), achievement goals (i.e., amity goals).
