THE CATHEDRAL

Starting from my original line drawing and concept art for the Cathedral project, over a short period i was able to learn a great deal about UE5, Substance Designer, lighting and Niagara Systems. Overall i would call this project a success. Given more time to complete this project there are quite a few changes i would make however for the time frame and the added bonus of upskilling within UE5 i'm super satisfied with my efforts. CORPO CYBERPUNK RIPPERDOCS

This project was my first complete 3D environment put together over 8 weeks, Made using Maya, Substance painter, Zbrush and rendered using Renderman.

For my first project i really wanted to push myself to learn as much as posssible, particularly when it came to lighting, meterial qualities like transparency and subsurface scattering as well as improving as a 3D modeller overall. Focusing on Good topology, Learning industry standard pipelines and finding challenges to overcome along the way, I can undoubtedly say I was certain 3D art would be my future after completing this project! 

Although a very simple scene it got me familiar with hard surface techniques and made me comfortable with polymodelling.
