Held a virtual field trip to a local landfill using real time streaming technology for a high school class.

Researched regulations and protection of domestic violence survivors.
Designed a detection device to help domestic violence victims monitoring current distance from attachers within certain range.

Colorblind

Researched laws on ADA compliance, section 508, and WCAG website accessibility guidelines.
Compared the results of a government website using different free online accessibility checking websites.

FacialRecognitionRediness

Designed a prototype facial recognition device for a hotel front desk.
Connected the recognition outputs to the hotel database and showed customer information on the computer screen.

Implanted Technology

Coordinated and developed intervention and assessment materials e.g. problem scenarios, diagnostic questions, systems thinking simulation models on STELLA application; Designed learning and teaching instruction with faculty to integrate systems thinking approach to students in two veterinary programs at Iowa State University and Kansas State University, and one Food Science program at University of Arkansas.
Prepared and conducted pretests, posttests, interviews with faculty and students for six courses in three years at College of Veterinary Medicine.
Analyzed quantitative data using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and qualitative data using NViVo.
Prepared Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and forms.
Updated and supervised all research materials and reports on the project Website.
