2021 KSDE AEOP SCHOLARSHIP NOW AVAILABLE
Applications are now available for the Kansas State Department of Education Association of Educational Office Professionals (KSDE AEOP) Margaret Van Horn Scholarship. Each year the association offers a scholarship to a Kansas student. The scholarship program is open to current Kansas High School, College, and/or Technical School students. Applicant must intend to continue his/her education in an education or business-related program. Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of nine semester hours (at least half-time). Enrollment must be in an accredited post-secondary educational facility within the state of Kansas.
The scholarship award of $300 is offered for the purchase of books, payment of fees or tuition, purchase of supplies, or other academic expenses.
Emphasis for selection of the recipient will be based on the scholarship application, initiative exhibited, character shown, and/or other factors supporting his/her candidacy.
The completed application, with original signature and enclosures, must be postmarked by January 14, 2021.

ACACIA FRATERNITY SCHOLARSHIP *For Males interested in KSU*
Acacia Fraternity is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for young men at your school who display motivation for personal success, an interest in studying the principles of leadership, and who plan to attend Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. This is a scholarship for applicants of all backgrounds.
Acacia Fraternity is an organization founded on the pursuit of knowledge and leadership. In that spirit, Acacia is awarding one leadership scholarship in the amount of $3,000 and two in the amount of $1,000 to incoming male freshmen at Kansas State University. Scholarship winners will be selected on the basis of merit as displayed in the application process as well as an interview, which will be scheduled later in the spring.

We encourage the submission of an application even if you have not reached the final decision to attend Kansas State University. These scholarships are also not membership dependent.
The priority deadline for applications will be December, 13th 2020 at 11:59pm. Applications will be accepted until January, 3rd 2020 at 11:59pm. The scholarship committee will contact all applicants within two weeks after the deadline to schedule interviews.
