The article talks about a phishing scam targeting LastPass users through fake emails that claim people need to back up their password vaults. The messages are meant to look official and pressure the users into acting quickly. If a user clicks the link in the email they are taken to a fake website that tries to steal their master password. LastPass has made it clear that they do not send emails asking users to back up their vaults or share login information.

This article explains that Ingram Micro was hit by a ransomware attack during the summer of 2025 that resulted in the theft of personal data belonging to about 42,000 current and former employees, as well as job applicants. Some of the data stolen was especially sensitive, like social security numbers, dates of births and identification information. The attack also interrupted the company's operations for about a week while the systems were taken offline and investigated. A ransomware group claimed responsibility and said they had stolen a large amount of company data.
